Introducing our newest retreat! Join us on the Costa Vicentina, Portugal's rugged western coastline, where you'll explore shimmering mermaid pools, powerful Atlantic waves, emerald rivers, breathtaking cliffs, and enjoy refreshing sun-soaked dips. With abundant sunshine throughout the year, June and September are ideal months to experience this dramatic coastline. You'll stay in our stunning villa perched atop a cliff along the famous Fisherman's Trail, allowing you to hike a section right from your doorstep! Originally built in the 1970s with Moroccan-inspired architecture, the villa has been thoughtfully restored in a relaxed modern bohemian style, offering stunning sea views and the perfect sunset spot for evening relaxation. Enjoy delicious meals crafted by our own chef using fresh, seasonal ingredients, practice rejuvenating yoga and meditation, and take advantage of daily salty excursions to savour the water and sun - it's your retreat!

YOGA
We will practice yoga together each day. Your teacher and host will guide you through these practices with a compassionate approach, always encouraging you to rest when you need to and look after your body - be kind to yourself! Whether you are fairly new to yoga or have been practicing for years, your teacher will be there to guide you through the alignment of the postures and hold space for your practice. This is your retreat, so if at any point you feel you would rather rest or take part in another activity at the villa then you are free to enjoy your time however you wish to.
SWIM TRIPS
Each day of our retreat we will discover a new and stunning swimming spot in the local area. Transport will be provided and our swim guide and qualified lifeguard will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and to make your swims both safe and fun - you can meet our team here. Our retreat was inspired by a book called Blue Mind by marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols - written about the remarkable effects of water on our health and well being. Even just being near to the water has an almost immediate and profound effect on us.
FOOD
Our in-villa retreat chef will prepare 3 healthy and delicious vegetarian meals per day using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. On your day of arrival there will be dinner and on your departure day there will be breakfast for our final meal all together. We cater to your individual dietary requirements - just let us know.
LOCATION
Our retreat villa is a beautiful and intimate home located on the south-west coast of Portugal in Alentejo, within easy reach of Faro Airport and just minutes from some of the country's most stunning stretches of coastline. You will feel an immediate sense of calm as soon as you arrive at our tranquil Monte, surrounded by beautiful sea views and typical Portuguese sights such as softly swaying giant palms and a quaint local port just below our villa. Soak up the sun or float in our swimming pool during your free time, or take a walk along part of the infamous Fisherman's Trail on our doorstep!
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- 5 nights accommodation at our stylish and tranquil sea view villa
- Delicious and nourishing seasonal vegetarian meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by our own retreat chef. If you require vegan options or have any other dietary requirements or allergies we will be happy to accommodate you - just let us know in your booking form.
- Daily yoga & meditation with your teacher who will guide you safely through your practice. We will enjoy both flowing energetic yoga as well as more restorative stillness practices and meditation during our classes. All classes are optional and we encourage you to retreat the way you want to. In order to enjoy the retreat to the fullest we do recommend that you already have a basic yoga practice before you attend. If you are unsure about what level of fitness you might need in order to make the most out of the activities on offer at this retreat please read our FAQ page.
- Daily guided trips to discover stunning swims and golden sands in the local area where you can choose to swim or just sit and soak in the beautiful sunshine. There are many parts of the Alentejo region where swims are tide and conditions dependent, we take care of all of this planning for you so all you need to worry about is which swimsuit to wear! We will explore a range of different wild swims from glittering mermaid pools to tidal river swims to Atlantic waves!
Please be aware that Portugal is a very popular holiday destination and so we cannot guarantee any totally empty beaches, but the huge stretches of coastline on the Costa Vicentina will always offer us a quiet corner to enjoy.
GETTING THERE
The nearest airport to our retreat house is Faro Airport. Several airlines fly direct from UK airports to Faro, including EasyJet and Ryanair. The house is approximately 1 hour 40 mins drive from Faro Airport. You can travel to the retreat house by Taxi, or by hire car. We also offer a complimentary retreat shuttle service to & from Faro Airport at a fixed time on arrival and departure days. If you need any assistance arranging your travel to the retreat we will be happy to help advise you.
GROUP SIZE
This retreat will be enjoyed by a small and intimate group of just 10 guests.

We are in love with this very special place and we know you will be too! Nestled atop sun drenched cliffs, our private villa is a stunning luxury home characterised by peach tones, Moroccan-inspired architecture and a beautifully relaxed minimalist bohemian style. This calm space will make you feel immediately at home, with its peaceful ambience, sea views, stunning sunsets, lush Mediterranean gardens and turquoise swimming pool.

The food was incredible and plentiful, and my food allergy was dealt with really professionally, I felt very confident that I was taken care of. The yoga was wonderful, I really enjoyed the classes.
